Eugene and Virginia Winter opened Spring View Manor with 6 residents in 1964. Since then, more than 1000 residents have called Spring View Manor home. It is still family-owned, with Gene and Virginia's children serving on the Board and Axiom Healthcare Services providing management services.
Throughout the years, Spring View Manor has developed a reputation for providing quality nursing care in a homelike environment where friendliness, respect and sociability are very important. In addition to providing our residents with important health services, custodial care, medication administration and safety, Spring View Manor also gives families peace of mind from knowing that their loved ones are receiving the care that they need.
Virginia Winter, former owner and Administrator, expressed the philosophy behind Spring View Manor. She said, “We are helping human beings and giving families respite from the continuous care many people need.” As a part of her legacy, Spring View Manor strives to provide necessary services to the residents, while treating them as if they were members of our own family.
At Spring View Manor, a number of our staff members have been with us for over 15 years and work together to achieve the best outcomes for our residents. Quality care involves many elements, ranging from comfortable surroundings to the expertise and care of nurses, physicians, therapists, nutritionists, social workers and certified nursing assistants.
